Viewing and Editing CygNet Measurement Configuration Logs

Each gas device Node (gas meter, station meter, or chromatograph) or liquid device Node in CygNet Measurement is configured with a variety of device-specific settings that impact the calculation of its measurement data, depending on the Node type and its specific circumstances. These device configuration details, and any changes made to them, are tracked and audited by the FMS service, and the records are accessible through the Configuration control.

Node configuration logs can be accessed from the Configuration control, either in FMS Explorer or on CygNet Studio/Vision screens, to view and distinguish changes between the configuration entries. Users with the required authorization levels can also edit configuration log entries, or send gas quality information to a device in the field, from the configuration control.

See Using the Configuration Control for more information about access to configuration log records through FMS Explorer.

See CygNet FMS Configuration Control for more information about access to configuration log records through CygNet Studio/Vision.
